Description

You will own the development, support, and maintenance of the statewide SNAP/TANF Eligibility Determination system on IBM Mainframe/Linux environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex SNAP and TANF eligibility systems in a Linux environment.
• Create new screens and functionality to integrate with legacy systems.
• Analyze, design, and program large or complex projects on IBM Mainframe/Linux systems.
• Provide subject matter expertise on Mainframe CICS system architectures.
• Develop and update documentation for procedures, policies, and processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Enterprise System Programming experience in COBOL CICS utilizing ADABAS database.
• Experience with MicroFocus COBOL in an enterprise developer environment.
• Knowledge of SNAP and TANF eligibility and economic assistance policies, including federal and state mandates.
• Experience interpreting, designing, and implementing mandates in Linux systems such as MAVS.
• Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, MAVS, and SNAP.
• Familiarity with Jira Software and Scrum methodologies.
