Description

You will manage the full software development lifecycle for large-scale applications within a financial services context.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design application architecture and draft technical specifications.
• Develop, test, and maintain large-scale software applications.
• Support SQA teams during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Analyze business scenarios to ensure software accuracy.

Required Skills

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Senior COBOL Developer.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent graduate degree.
• Experience managing the full software development lifecycle.
• Proven ability to handle technical analysis and software testing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with FujiTSU NetCOBOL or Micro Focus COBOL.
• Knowledge of Sybase, MQ, Unix, and Unix shell scripting.
• Background in the financial industry with knowledge of trade flow and corporate actions.
