Description

You will maintain and develop core healthcare claims processing systems, owning the COBOL application lifecycle from development to deployment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain COBOL applications for healthcare claims processing, focusing on Marketplace, Third Party Liability, and Coordination of Benefits.
• Process EDI 837 claims transactions within existing workflows.
• Write complex SQL queries to manage and extract data.
• Manage code deployments using GIT and standard release management tools.
• Operate within HP-UX or Amisys (Facets) environments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience working with COBOL.
• Deep domain knowledge in Healthcare Claims (Marketplace, TPL, COB).
• Experience handling EDI 837 claims transactions.
• Proficiency with HP-UX or Amisys/Facets.
• Strong ability to write complex SQL queries.
• Experience with GIT and release management tools.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to React Js and Springboot microservices.
• Experience with ETL processes and Kafka.
