Description

You will maintain and modernize legacy COBOL applications, manage data interfaces, and support AS400/mainframe databases.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update applications using native COBOL, supporting limited RPG instances where necessary.
• Develop interfaces between DLT and other agencies, managing data transfers via ODBC, SFTP, GoAnywhere, SharePoint, IRS FIRE, QLIK, SMB, and FTP.
• Generate forms using XL Print Paris Software and FormDocs, fulfilling associated programming requirements.
• Support application databases using DB2 (including multimember records) and SQL, and generate required reports.
• Assist with migration efforts to modernize legacy applications and configure application security.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of extensive experience with COBOL.
• Proficiency in CICS and SQL Programming.
• Experience developing and supporting application interfaces.
• Expertise in database support, specifically with DB2.
• Hands-on experience with AS400 and mainframe systems (VSE, MVS, VM).
• Familiarity with ODBC, SFTP, and GoAnywhere.
• Experience utilizing Spell/400, Surveyor, and X-Analysis.
