Description

You will develop, maintain, and debug technical programs within a mainframe environment. You own the full lifecycle from specification to implementation and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain complex technical programs using COBOL, DB2, JCL, and SQL.
• Code, test, debug, and implement mainframe solutions with high accuracy.
• Document technical designs and communicate strategies to stakeholders across the company.
• Provide on-call support and travel as required to ensure system stability.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency with COBOL, DB2, JCL, and SQL.
• Experience coding, testing, and debugging technical programs.
• Ability to work with distributed technologies such as Java, Python, or TypeScript.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills for technical designs.
• Degree in any field.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of insurance and financial services products.
• Familiarity with business unit applications.
