Description

Lead the commissioning and servicing of measurement and control applications for rolling mill processes in the metal industry.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Commission and service measurement and control applications, specifically flatness, dimension, and force measurement systems.
• Deliver product training through on-site and classroom sessions to build global technical competence.
• Conduct risk and opportunity assessments before and during site visits.
• Provide remote technical support and participate in product and process development activities.

Required Skills

• 10–12 years of experience in the metal industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering.
• Hands-on experience with DCS, PLC, or measurement systems in metal industry applications.
• Proven experience working on-site in commissioning or maintenance roles.
• Solid understanding of control methodology.
• Strong commitment to safe work practices and workplace safety guidelines.
• Effective written and spoken communication skills for technical documentation and training.

• Solution-focused approach to troubleshooting and client support.
