Description

You will develop computer vision models for autonomous robot inventory scanners and lead algorithm development and software delivery.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop machine learning algorithms for object detection, recognition, segmentation, and tracking.
• Design, implement, and deliver computer vision software systems for retail applications.
• Build scalable solutions for recognition problems and continuously improve algorithm performance.
• Drive the development of vision algorithms and software on cloud or edge infrastructures.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to define technical direction.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience building Computer Vision or Machine Learning models.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with object detection, recognition, and segmentation tasks.
• Deep understanding of probability and statistical models, including generative and descriptive approaches.
• Ability to design and run scientific experiments to analyze and validate results.
• Experience with image processing techniques and distributed computing environments.
• PhD degree with 1 year of industrial experience.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree with 3 years of industrial experience (if not PhD).
