Description

You will develop computer vision models for autonomous robot inventory scanners, driving research and implementation of detection, recognition, segmentation, and tracking algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement computer vision software systems for retail applications.
• Build scalable solutions for complex recognition problems and improve existing algorithm performance.
• Drive development of vision algorithms for cloud or edge infrastructures.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and operations teams as a technical lead.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience building Computer Vision or Machine Learning models.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Deep learning expertise in object detection, image classification, image segmentation, and video analysis.
• Strong understanding of probability and statistical models, including generative and descriptive models.
• Experience running scientific experiments and analyzing results.
• Experience with image processing and distributed computing.
• Master's degree with 3 years of industrial experience, or a PhD with 1 year of industrial experience.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to communicate technical concepts and results to business audiences.
• Experience collaborating across analytics, development, and product management teams.
