Description

You will manage and scale Confluent Kafka environments across on-premises and cloud deployments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage Confluent Kafka clusters, monitoring performance and data distribution.
• Design and configure RBAC and multi-tenancy models.
• Automate all Kafka configurations using Ansible.
• Implement and manage disaster recovery for Confluent Kafka instances.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and backend teams on cluster connectivity, software upgrades, and DR efforts.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of total IT experience with a strong engineering background.
• 6-8 years of experience using Confluent Kafka.
• 5+ years of experience in Kafka administration, specifically cluster management and client integration.
• Hands-on experience with Confluent Kafka On-prem.
• Hands-on experience with Confluent Kafka Cloud.
• Proficiency with Ansible for configuration management.
• Experience using Git.
• Ability to manage RBAC and multi-tenancy.
