Lead strategic initiatives and operational optimization for solar assets in the renewable energy sector.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Optimize solar plant portfolio performance through vendor management, regulatory approvals, and contract negotiations.
• Develop electricity procurement, carbon pricing, and renewable power obligation strategies.
• Design power sector transformation frameworks for regulators and risk mitigation strategies for transmission congestion.
• Establish a Project Management Office (PMO) to manage PPA and EPC contract reviews.
• Evaluate power purchase, open access, and carbon credit contracts at MW-GW scales.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of consulting experience in the Energy & Utility industry.
• Subject Matter Expertise (SME) working with regulators and utilities in Solar renewables.
• Proven experience in Project Management & Delivery.
• Expertise in Financial Analysis & Modeling for renewables.
• Experience in Market Research and Contractual Due Diligence.
• Proficiency in Data Analytics and complex data modeling.
• Experience with contractual lifecycle and management.
• Knowledge of process optimization for existing assets.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or an MBA with an Energy specialization.
• Ability to assess leveraging ML on G-suite data for plant tracking.
