Description

You will manage Windows Server and VMware environments to ensure infrastructure stability.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Servers and VMware ESXi hosts, vCenter servers, and virtual machines.
• Resolve L2/L3 issues involving server crashes, performance degradation, and connectivity problems.
• Execute OS and firmware updates, patch management, and version upgrades for Windows Server and ESXi.
• Manage incidents within SLA timelines and perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Configure network settings for VMs, including virtual switches, VLANs, group policies, and access permissions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server administration and VMware vSphere environments.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, GPO, DFS, File Servers, DNS, and DHCP.
• Proficiency in VMware ESXi host and vCenter installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience upgrading Windows Server versions (2012R2 to 2016/2019) and ESXi versions (6.x to 7.x/8.x).
• Working knowledge of Azure, AWS, and O365.
• Ability to manage resource allocation and performance optimization for virtual machines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience liaising with third-party vendors for hardware and software resolution.
