Description

You will own the design and maturity of scalable data platforms built on Snowflake.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate engineering use cases into secure Snowflake designs utilizing warehouses, tasks, data sharing, and Snowpark.
• Extend the Snowflake service by integrating it with Databricks, Kafka, and data catalog tools.
• Build and optimize self-serve templates for onboarding, environments, and pipelines to accelerate data engineering team time-to-value.
• Assess and implement complex access control and data privacy using RBAC, ABAC, and row/column-level security.
• Drive CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code for Snowflake objects and integrations while optimizing compute and storage.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of senior-level experience as a technical authority within Snowflake platform teams.
• Expertise in designing scalable data platform architectures and integrating complex enterprise systems.
• Proficiency in Snowflake, SQL, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Kafka.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Observability patterns for platform monitoring.
• Proven ability to optimize compute, storage, and concurrency in Snowflake.

Preferred Skills

• Strong understanding of Cloud Computing principles.
