Description

You design, develop, and test automation and robotic control systems by integrating software, electrical, and mechanical engineering principles.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform kinematic analysis and develop control algorithms for robotic platforms and sub-systems.
• Design and implement control systems for early prototypes and proof-of-concept robotics.
• Drive architectural and design changes in mechanical and electrical systems to optimize control performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using SAFe Agile methodologies to deliver new product features.
• Select and interface with vendors and evaluate intellectual property in coordination with legal departments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in robotics and automation, including electro-mechanical design and software development.
• Proven experience with DC motor control.
• C# and C++ programming skills.
• Working knowledge of .NET Framework.
• Familiarity with CAN bus networking.
• Solid working knowledge of regulatory standards including IEC 60601, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Object-oriented software development and cross-platform development experience.
• Knowledge of UML state machine theory and practical application.
• Robotic control theory, including servo systems and PID controllers.
