Description

You will lead the technical design and development of software and hardware architectures for manufacturing systems, supporting complex equipment controls and MES projects.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Program and maintain Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and safety systems using ladder logic.
• Define MES and Ignition solution architectures with detailed design specifications.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting for electro-mechanical systems and shop-floor tool interfaces.
• Manage project scope, timeline, and standards compliance (OSHA/NEC).

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or operations.
• Expert programming with Allen Bradley PLCs (Logix, SLC) and FactoryTalk.
• Hands-on Ignition SCADA and HMI development.
• Strong understanding of robotics programming interfaces and pneumatics/hydraulics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Apriso MES solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Intermediate to expert SQL, JavaScript, Python, and OPC programming.
