Description

You will lead the design, implementation, and commissioning of industrial automation solutions for complex processes and machinery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop control system architectures, select hardware, and detail schematic diagrams and documentation.
• Program controllers using PLC and DCS/Delta V platforms, including HMI and SCADA process visualization.
• Lead engineering teams through requirement identification, specification development, and system qualification.
• Manage project lifecycles, including execution plans, budgets, task scheduling, and financial reporting for projects up to $10M.
• Direct the implementation and commissioning of control systems at client facilities.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in industrial automation and control systems.
• Deep proficiency with PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DCS/Delta V platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation, Siemens, and Modicon hardware/software.
• Expertise in programming languages including Ladder, Sequential Function Chart, and Structured Text.
• Strong knowledge of HMIs such as FactoryTalk, Plant Pax, Aveva System Platform, Ignition, GE iFIX, Siemens WinCC, and TI Portal.
• Experience with Emerson DeltaV platforms and PLC-5 to ControlLogix conversions.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Control, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Programming knowledge in VBA, .NET, SQL, or Python.
• Experience with industrial networking protocols including Ethernet/IP, Profinet, and Modbus.
• Knowledge of Batch/Recipes, OEE, MES, and ERP systems.
