Description

You will design, program, and commission industrial controls systems and HMI interfaces, owning the full lifecycle from development to on-site validation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop PLC and HMI code from scratch based on customer specifications and standard techniques.
• Execute code installation, on-site debugging, and full system commissioning.
• Program peripheral devices and machine PLCs while coordinating power-up and validation with build and electrical teams.
• Travel to customer sites to manage system installation and startup.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in controls engineering and PLC/HMI programming.
• Extensive experience with Rockwell Allen Bradley (ControlLogix, RSLogix, or Studio 5000) or Siemens Step 7 (TIA Portal, WinCC).
• Proven ability to write ladder logic and code from scratch.
• Experience with automotive manufacturing integration and commissioning.
• Ability to program within customer-defined standards and templates.
• Degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Mechatronics, or Electrical) or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Omron, Mitsubishi, or other client PLC platforms.
• Hardware design experience using AutoCAD, Promise-E, or ePlan.
• Proficiency with fieldbus networks including DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, or ProfiNet.
