Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Mainframe applications using Coolgen throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Mainframe-based applications using Coolgen to meet business objectives.
• Analyze user requirements to transform them into technical stipulations and system features.
• Write, test, and debug well-designed, testable code to ensure application functionality.
• Create detailed technical design documentation and user-facing documentation.
• Prepare software component releases and investigate architectural improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency with CA GEN (Coolgen).
• Hands-on experience with Mainframe environments.
• Strong knowledge of COBOL.
• Experience with REXX.
• Experience with DB2.
• Full lifecycle experience including requirement capture, design, coding, testing, and implementation.
• Ability to conduct software analysis, programming, and debugging.
