Description

You will build and scale distributed backend systems using Java and microservices architecture.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable microservices using Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain distributed applications and systems.
• Implement RESTful APIs for efficient service communication.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for high-performance data access.
• Integrate asynchronous messaging and caching solutions into the architecture.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in core Java development (Java 7+).
• Deep understanding of multithreading, collections, and data structures.
• Proven experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Redis.
• Practical knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with distributed systems architecture.
• Exposure to AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Background in banking, trading, or fintech domains.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
