Lead cost management programs for large-scale construction projects, ensuring accurate budget oversight and financial projections.

Responsibilities

• Implement cost management programs, tracking approved budgets, total commitments, and incurred costs.
• Manage the change management process to maintain accurate cost projections and oversee weekly financial reporting.
• Analyze historical data and market trends to provide estimates and rough order of magnitude assessments for design changes.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering and track project risks with stakeholders.
• Mentor team members in financial reporting, cost tracking, and analysis functions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in cost engineering or related roles.
• 5+ years in project controls, preferably within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or Engineering Management.
• Proficiency in Oracle Unifier, P6, Bluebeam, AutoDesk Cloud, and CAD.
• Deep understanding of construction means and methods across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
• Experience in manufacturing or pharmaceutical/clean room environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience coordinating workshops to align teams on project issues and cost-effective solutions.
