You will provide advanced technical support and database administration for enterprise customers.
Responsibilities
- Debug complex connection issues and resolve networking latency problems.
- Perform database performance tuning, security management, and backup and recovery operations.
- Optimize database queries and manage relational database environments.
- Anticipate and prevent potential customer technical issues through proactive monitoring.
- Apply data warehousing fundamentals to resolve customer data architecture queries.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience in database environments.
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or Postgres.
- Hands-on experience with Unix or Linux operating systems.
- Deep understanding of database security, performance tuning, and backup and recovery.
- Strong networking knowledge, specifically debugging connection and latency issues.
- Experience in application development or enterprise-level technical support.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of database replication.
- Oracle Professional, Azure Database Administrator Associate, AWS, or Snowflake certifications.
