Description

You will provide advanced technical support and database administration for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

  • Debug complex connection issues and resolve networking latency problems.
  • Perform database performance tuning, security management, and backup and recovery operations.
  • Optimize database queries and manage relational database environments.
  • Anticipate and prevent potential customer technical issues through proactive monitoring.
  • Apply data warehousing fundamentals to resolve customer data architecture queries.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in database environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or Postgres.
  • Hands-on experience with Unix or Linux operating systems.
  • Deep understanding of database security, performance tuning, and backup and recovery.
  • Strong networking knowledge, specifically debugging connection and latency issues.
  • Experience in application development or enterprise-level technical support.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

  • Working knowledge of database replication.
  • Oracle Professional, Azure Database Administrator Associate, AWS, or Snowflake certifications.
