Description

You will lead end-to-end security incident and vulnerability management in Cambridge.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage security incidents and vulnerabilities from detection through resolution, ensuring all SLAs are met.
• Lead investigations into common incident and vulnerability types without supervision.
• Coordinate the operational queue, prioritizing tasks and escalating blockers or delays.
• Identify and record new risks, suggesting treatment plans and strategic process improvements.
• Provide on-the-job training, peer reviews, and management information reports on threat trends.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in security and IT domains.
• Proven ability to manage incidents and vulnerabilities end-to-end.
• Advanced proficiency with incident response and investigation tooling.
• Strong written and numeric communication skills for high-standard reporting.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while integrating into a team.
• Foundational negotiation and influencing skills.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Professional certifications including CISSP, GCIH, GIAC, GCFE, or GREM SANS.
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes.
• Experience in incident/vulnerability response leadership and project management techniques.
