Description

Develop security designs and address software vulnerabilities within a multi-disciplinary engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Develop security designs and perform risk assessments to address product software vulnerabilities.
• Investigate complex security problems and communicate findings across engineering teams.
• Design and implement security for platform, network, and infrastructure products.
• Use vulnerability scanning tools to identify defects and update C++ product code.
• Implement secure coding practices based on standards such as SEI CERT.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing C++ applications for Linux platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented methodology.
• Experience working within Linux environments.
• Ability to use scripting languages for automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and design evaluations from a security perspective.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Python.
• Experience in cloud, application, or firmware security.
• Knowledge of firmware security.
