Description

You will perform cybersecurity analysis, triage, and countermeasure development to safeguard networks and hosts.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage configuration, implementation, and maintenance of host-based firewalls, IPS, anti-virus, SELinux, network firewalls, SIEMs, and proxies.
• Develop and deploy countermeasures for network and host systems based on OSINT or behavioral analysis.
• Monitor, tune, and implement countermeasures using Trellix ePO, Palo Alto, and QRadar.
• Perform incident response, follow chain of custody processes, and characterize network/host traffic to identify threats.
• Lead malware analysis, reverse engineering of suspicious files, and vulnerability/penetration testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience supporting IT or Cybersecurity Operations.
• 2+ years performing SOC functions such as incident responder, security investigator, or security engineer.
• Proficiency in at least two scripting languages.
• Operational familiarity with Kali Linux.
• Hands-on experience with Trellix ePO, Palo Alto, QRadar, DLP, SELinux, and Network Firewalls.
• Compliance with DoD IAT Level II.
• Ability to obtain or maintain DoD or DHS Top Secret with SCI Eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Proven work history with Threat Intelligence.
• Experience selecting and building security tools including SIEM, vulnerability scanning, and firewalls.
