Description

You will lead the deployment of advanced cybersecurity capabilities and support Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) efforts within Azure and AWS digital environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify, plan, implement, and test system security requirements.
• Review security risks associated with Change Requests, Infrastructure Change Requests, and Configuration Change Requests.
• Manage POA&Ms, review Port Open Requests (PORs), and provide input into the CONOPS.
• Collaborate with ISSOs, ISSEs, and Security Control Assessors (SCA) to verify security approaches for ATO/ATP decisions.
• Support vulnerability testing of code and work with vulnerability management teams to ensure findings are remediated or mitigated.
• Monitor IAVM notifications and ensure actions are implemented to secure the development environment.

Required Skills

• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI and DHS Suitability.
• 8+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Agile software development programs.
• Experience with intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), log analysis, malware analysis, and network traffic flow/packet analysis.
• Practical experience hardening IT systems in compliance with STE/STIG guidelines.
• Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, topology, sockets, security), operating systems (Windows/UNIX/Linux), and web technologies.
• Experience with NIST security control validation and DHS 4300A system requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or 18+ years of total experience).

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing secure network solutions including DMZs and web portals.
• Knowledge of Authorizing & Accrediting processes (DCID, ICD, NIST 800-53, SANS 20) for large-scale programs.
