Description

You will provide Engineering Support Services to NAVSEA PEO IWS Cyber Leads, working both onsite and offsite.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate the implementation of cybersecurity solutions for surface combat systems.
• Manage the development and integration of cyber capabilities across combat system platforms.
• Plan, research, and develop cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct independent technical assessments of cybersecurity evaluations and test reports.
• Develop and present cybersecurity briefs, system updates, and risk assessments to Navy leadership.

Required Skills

• Active DoD SECRET security clearance (must be maintainable).
• Strong technical background in Cybersecurity and computer networking.
• Knowledge of DoD and DON cybersecurity policies, including NIST 800-53, DoDI 8500.01, and DoDI 8510.01 (RMF).
• Experience in Software Development, System Design, or information systems management.
• Ability to present data, analysis, and recommendations to Government and Military leadership.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience assigning work and managing tasks.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree plus relevant experience.
