Description

Provide engineering support for NAVSEA PEO IWS Cyber Leads, designing and coordinating cybersecurity solutions for surface combat systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate cybersecurity solution implementation for surface combat systems.
• Manage development and integration of cyber capabilities across combat system platforms.
• Plan and develop cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct independent technical assessments of cybersecurity evaluations and test reports.
• Present cybersecurity briefs, system updates, and risk assessments to Navy leadership.

Required Skills

• Active DoD SECRET security clearance (maintainable).
• 10+ years experience in Cybersecurity, Software Development, or System Design.
• Strong technical background in computer networking and information systems management.
• Knowledge of DoD and DON cybersecurity policies, including NIST 800-53.
• Experience with DoDI 8500.01 and DoDI 8510.01 (RMF).
• Ability to present data, analysis, and recommendations to Government and Military leadership.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience assigning work and managing tasks.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
