Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable end-to-end test automation frameworks using Cypress and TypeScript.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts in Cypress and TypeScript for functional, regression, and API scenarios.
• Implement and maintain scalable end-to-end automation frameworks aligned with industry best practices.
• Conduct REST and GraphQL API testing, validating payloads, authentication, authorization, and error handling.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for database validation, data seeding, and backend verification.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to translate requirements into test scenarios and troubleshoot CI/CD issues.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in QA automation testing.
• Advanced proficiency with Cypress and hands-on experience building and maintaining test suites.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript (preferred) or JavaScript.
• Proven expertise in REST API testing, including request-response validation, headers, and status codes.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend verification.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git/GitHub.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, and end-to-end testing principles.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with AI-powered coding assistants such as Claude AI, Copilot Studio, or GitHub Copilot.
• Experience with Playwright or other modern test automation frameworks.
