Description

Own the automated testing strategy for consumer credit platforms using Cypress and TypeScript.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable end-to-end test suites for functional, regression, and API testing.
• Write optimized test scripts in Cypress and TypeScript to validate UI and backend behavior.
• Conduct REST and GraphQL API testing, verifying payloads, authentication, and error handling.
• Execute SQL queries for database validation, data seeding, and backend verification.
• Leverage AI tools like Claude or Copilot to generate scripts, identify edge cases, and improve efficiency.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in QA automation testing.
• Advanced proficiency in Cypress and building/maintaining test suites.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript (preferred) or JavaScript.
• Proven expertise in REST API testing using tools like Postman or Thunder Client.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and test data management.
• Experience with version control systems like Git/GitHub.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered coding assistants (Claude, Copilot Studio, or GitHub Copilot).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with security testing (OWASP) and performance testing tools like JMeter or Lighthouse.
