Description

You will own the test automation strategy for functional, regression, and API scenarios using Cypress and TypeScript.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable end-to-end test frameworks aligned with industry best practices.
• Execute API testing for REST and GraphQL endpoints, validating payloads, authentication, and error handling.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for database validation, data seeding, and backend verification.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance test script generation, identify edge cases, and improve efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and defect analysis.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in QA automation testing.
• Advanced proficiency in Cypress and TypeScript (or JavaScript) for building maintainable test suites.
• Proven expertise in REST API testing, including request-response validation, headers, and status codes.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend verification.
• Experience with CI/CD integration, maintaining automated tests within continuous pipelines.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub for version control.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and document test procedures clearly.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GraphQL API testing.
• Contributions to performance and security testing efforts.
