You will own the end-to-end data lifecycle for sub-BU teams, including Market FP&A and Reporting & Controlling.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from business teams to ensure data availability at required granularities.
• Apply big data analytics to gather data and assess validity.
• Identify manual, repetitive tasks and automate them using available tools to simplify the data landscape.
• Build and own BU-specific tools and dashboards in coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, make predictions, and provide actionable recommendations to management.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in (re-)insurance analytics, MIS reporting, or data engineering.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, and DAX.
• Hands-on Python programming experience, preferably with PySpark.
• Strong experience writing SQL queries.
• Proven track record of delivering dashboard solutions and engaging stakeholders in global settings.
• Experience automating manual reporting processes and supporting financial planning or forecasting activities.
• Ability to interpret complex data sets to drive proactive management decisions.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Palantir tools.
• Experience with Excel Macros, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, or financial reporting processes.
