Description

You will lead data mapping, validation, and testing activities for a complex SAP R/3 to S/4HANA finance migration.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and maintenance of EDW data mapping documentation between the Enterprise Data Warehouse and SAP finance systems.
• Execute data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy.
• Write and execute test strategies, including unit testing, functional integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Collaborate with BI developers, data engineers, and SAP stakeholders to define transformation rules and support reporting.
• Maintain issue logs and RAID logs to track risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies throughout the migration lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in data analysis, specifically with enterprise data systems or finance.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with SAP, including functional knowledge of GL, AP/AR, FA, and CO modules.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data validation and reconciliation techniques.
• Experience with data mapping, data dictionaries, and transformation logic documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Proven experience supporting SAP migration projects and data reconciliation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, or Azure.
• Familiarity with Finance Accounting Transformation and finance data migration.
• Experience working in hybrid project environments using Agile or waterfall methodologies.
