Description

You will analyze credit data and develop analytical models to support lending strategy.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Extract and analyze TransUnion datasets, including tradelines, inquiries, and FICO scores, to evaluate creditworthiness.
• Develop and monitor lending KPIs such as delinquency rates, loss forecasting, and prepayment trends.
• Build underwriting strategies, pricing models, and risk segmentation frameworks using SQL and Python.
• Design ELT pipelines in Snowflake to integrate TransUnion feeds while ensuring FCRA compliance.
• Partner with Risk, Product, and Compliance teams on A/B testing and executive reporting via automated dashboards.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years in lending analytics with hands-on TransUnion credit data experience.
• Expert-level SQL proficiency (joins, window functions, CTEs, query optimization).
• Advanced Python proficiency (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) for analysis and automation.
• Deep understanding of TransUnion data formats, credit attributes, and FICO models.
• Experience designing and optimizing data pipelines in Snowflake.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements, specifically FCRA and ECOA.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical findings to business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of cloud platform management within data warehousing environments.
• Experience with alternative data or Machine Learning in credit risk modeling.
