Description

You will lead data mapping efforts across the supply chain, translating business requirements into technical specifications for data marts. You will own the development, testing, and maintenance of scalable datasets and reusable SQL code within Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Define business rules, transformation logic, and data validation processes to ensure auditability.
• Develop and maintain data models, entity relationship diagrams (ERDs), and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Perform peer code reviews to ensure high-quality data deliverables and reusable SQL standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data architecture and solution design decisions.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and data quality.

Required Skills

• Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in complex data querying and transformation.
• Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically BigQuery.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 5+ years, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience implementing automated data quality checks and validations.
• Proficiency in Agile environments using Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets to drive business insights.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and stakeholder collaboration.
