Senior Data Analyst - ETL Testing

You will lead ETL validation and data quality assurance efforts across complex data pipelines and cloud projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies, plans, and comprehensive test cases for ETL validation, regression, and UAT testing.
• Execute manual and automated testing to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency throughout the ETL process.
• Transform complex business logic into SQL or PL/SQL queries to validate data against source systems.
• Identify, document, and report defects using Azure DevOps or JIRA, performing root cause analysis to recommend solutions.
• Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and ensure thorough coverage throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on ETL processes and Analytics Reporting.
• Expertise in writing complex SQL queries for data verification in SQL Server, Oracle, AWS Athena, or Redshift.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Snowflake.
• Proficiency in test management and defect tracking using Azure DevOps or JIRA.
• Strong knowledge of data migration testing and test data creation using SQL Server Management Studio or Oracle Developer.
• Experience performing API testing and validating Web Service APIs.
• Proven ability in test design, execution, and structured quality assurance methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium.
