Description

You will own the design and maintenance of dimensional data models for banking data within a data engineering context.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain fact and dimension tables for banking data.
• Build and optimize data marts sourced from the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
• Analyze banking data to understand consumption patterns across different lines of business.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data structures.
• Define data grain, business rules, and definitions to support analytics and reporting.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Modeler, or Analytics Engineer.
• Strong mandatory banking domain experience (Retail or Commercial banking, loans, deposits, accounts, transactions).
• Proven experience with dimensional data modeling (fact & dimension tables, star/snowflake schemas).
• Hands-on experience designing data marts from EDW data.
• Strong SQL skills, with Microsoft SQL Server preferred.
• Familiarity with Snowflake.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python or R for lightweight analytics.
• Exposure to cloud storage platforms (e.g., S3).
