Description

You will translate business needs into technical requirements for data systems, acting as the liaison between Judiciary business units and the technical development team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Elicit business, data, and functional requirements from cross-discipline stakeholders.
• Document business data glossaries, definitions, and rules for logical and physical data model design.
• Translate data requirements into clear documentation including use cases, process flows, and mapping diagrams.
• Partner with QA and SMEs to ensure adequate test coverage for solutions.

Required Skills

• 2–3 years of experience writing SQL against DB2 and AWS (Dynamo, Redshift).
• High-level understanding of technical programming concepts in Java, Python, or Pega.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with business and technology SMEs.
• Strong attention to detail for defining scope and planning project tasks.
• Demonstrated success in a data governance or management support function.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of experience with at least 2+ years in a business analyst function supporting data governance.
• Experience with SharePoint, JIRA, Microsoft Excel, Visio, or Powerpoint.
• Experience in Data Visualization.
