You will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and enterprise data infrastructure, translating complex requirements into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Gather, clarify, and document data requirements from cross-functional business users to ensure alignment with strategic initiatives.
• Develop and maintain recurring reports, ad hoc dashboards, and data extracts using advanced SQL and BI tools.
• Profile and analyze source data to validate accuracy, identify gaps, and ensure outputs meet business expectations.
• Partner with data platform engineers to surface data quality issues, missing elements, or structural gaps.
• Contribute to the business glossary and data catalog by capturing domain knowledge and standardizing definitions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role with strong stakeholder-facing focus.
• Advanced SQL skills for writing complex queries and analytical scripts against large relational or cloud datasets.
• Proficiency in BI and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Experience with cloud data platforms including Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into data solutions, including documentation and data mapping.
• Excellent communication skills to explain data findings in plain language without technical jargon.
• Ability to manage a queue of business requests, prioritize competing demands, and deliver independently.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with data governance concepts, including stewardship, lineage, and metadata management.
• Experience with data governance platforms such as Collibra, Alation, or Microsoft Purview.
