Description

You will lead data profiling, master data management (MDM), and governance initiatives to ensure data consistency and interoperability across government agency systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Profile undocumented data sources to identify overlaps, gaps, and integration opportunities.
• Develop golden record strategies and MDM solutions to merge duplicate entities into single verifiable records.
• Define data standards and governance plans to ensure continuous data quality and stewardship.
• Lead cross-division project planning, scheduling, and stakeholder requirement gathering.
• Manage data dictionaries and metadata to support transparency and technical specifications.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data query and analysis using SQL, Python, or R.
• Direct experience profiling undocumented data sources within government agencies.
• Proven experience managing requirements for Master Data Management (MDM) involving entity resolution for people, organizations, or locations.
• Deep understanding of MDM concepts and use cases within the public sector.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality principles.
• Expertise in business analysis, including requirements gathering and process mapping.
• Experience managing large-scale public sector data integration projects.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local data privacy laws.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, MDM, APIs, ETL, Agile, and Project Management.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to bridge business and technical perspectives through effective facilitation.
