Own end-to-end reporting solutions, data models, and pipelines to deliver actionable insights for leadership.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build dashboards, recurring reports, and ad-hoc analysis aligned to business needs.
• Partner with OPS, DQAS, OPCC, and TECH stakeholders to define reporting requirements and KPIs.
• Develop and maintain data models and ETL/ELT pipelines to support reliable, standardized reporting.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and operational improvements, including incident root cause analysis.
• Drive standardization and automation of reporting processes to reduce manual effort and ensure data quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics or reporting roles, with proven enterprise-grade solution delivery.
• Strong SQL proficiency, including complex joins, performance tuning, and data validation.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Proficiency in data wrangling and analysis using Python or R.
• Hands-on experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, Azure, Hadoop) and large datasets.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines and data modeling concepts.
• Strong Excel skills for ad-hoc analysis and validation work.
• Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, statistics, engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Data Stack (ADF, Synapse, Databricks) and operational/real-time reporting.
• Familiarity with railroad, logistics, or transportation data and event-driven systems.
• Ability to translate complex data into business impact across business and tech teams without formal authority.
