You will design and maintain dimensional data models and data marts for banking analytics.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain dimensional data models, including fact and dimension tables, for banking data.
• Build and optimize data marts sourced directly from the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
• Analyze banking data to understand how different Lines of Business consume and use data.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data structures.
• Define data grain, business rules, and data definitions to support analytics and reporting.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Modeler, or Analytics Engineer.
• Strong banking domain experience, specifically in retail banking, commercial banking, loans, deposits, accounts, and transactions.
• Proven experience with dimensional data modeling (fact & dimension tables, star/snowflake schemas).
• Hands-on experience designing data marts from EDW data.
• Strong SQL skills; Microsoft SQL Server experience preferred.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
• Familiarity with the Edw framework/concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python or R for lightweight analytics.
• Familiarity with cloud storage platforms like S3.
