Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with strong expertise in SQL, data mining, reporting, and Tableau to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to analyze complex datasets, identify data quality issues such as redundancy and leakage, and collaborate across teams to resolve data-related challenges.

This role involves working on a project where data is being migrated from legacy data models to a new structures that the Tableau connects to. The analyst will play a key role in validating the new data model data vs old data model data as it appears on the Tableau reports and reconcile it to ensuring integrity and usability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Phase 1 – Connect Tableau to the new data models in the DWH
• Phase 2 – Ensure Tableau reports are working fine in terms of the functionality as they are ported from the old data models to the new data models
• Phase 3 – Reconciliation of the data across the old vs new and ensure that they are acceptable to the business teams
• Analyze and interpret complex datasets to support business decisions.
• Write and optimize advanced SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Perform data mining to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues including redundancy, leakage, and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineering, IT, business) to understand data needs and resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau.
• Validate data migration from old Tableau tables to new structures and ensure accuracy.
• Document findings, processes, and recommendations clearly and effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write and troubleshoot complex queries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau for dashboard creation and data visualization.
• Experience in data migration projects and validating new data structures.
• Familiarity with data governance and best practices in data quality management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
• Background in finance or enterprise systems is a plus
