You will design and implement data models to translate business requirements into long-term technical solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design logical and physical data models, normalizing unstructured mainframe data into OLTP schemas.
• Develop conceptual data models and data flows in collaboration with development teams.
• Implement data strategies and optimize local and metadata models for efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and optimize data systems to resolve variances and discrepancies.
• Document source-to-target data mapping for the EDW and establish SAS coding and conversion standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis or data modeling.
• Expertise in Azure Databricks (Apache Spark).
• Proficiency with Azure SQL PaaS and SSRS.
• Strong knowledge of Azure and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and Power BI Dataflows.
• Programming proficiency in Python.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Alteryx.
• Working knowledge of distributed systems including Spark.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with .Net, C#, C++, Java, or Node.js.
• Knowledge of PowerShell, CSS, and HTML5.
