Description

Drive data analysis, governance, and predictive modeling within a DataOps framework.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual and logical data models and ERD diagrams.
• Build data stories using visualization tools to communicate insights to senior business resources.
• Collaborate with product managers, software developers, and researchers in an Agile/SAFe environment.
• Apply predictive analytics and machine learning algorithms, such as regression analysis, to data sets.
• Manage data through MDM, metadata, and governance processes.

Required Skills

• Advanced SQL and strong Hive experience.
• Experience with big data technologies including Spark, Impala, and both columnar and row-level data stores.
• Proficiency in visualization tools like Spotfire or PowerBI.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud environments.
• Knowledge of data management tools such as Tamr or Trifacta.
• Familiarity with life sciences industry standards including SDTM and OMOP.
• Experience with statistical process controls and data governance.

Preferred Skills

• Java, Python, Kafka, or Postgres.
• GCP data services.
