Description

You will analyze upstream Drilling & Completions data to drive operational insights and improve reporting for energy sector operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Import, cleanse, and validate large-scale upstream operational datasets to ensure data integrity.
• Interpret drilling and completions data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities.
• Design and develop dashboards and reports using Power BI and/or Spotfire.
• Utilize advanced SQL for querying, transforming, and analyzing structured datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and present findings to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data analytics, specifically with Upstream Oil & Gas Drilling & Completions data.
• Advanced SQL expertise for complex querying and data transformation.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI or Spotfire for visualization and reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for documentation and analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Databricks and/or Python for data engineering workflows.
• Exposure to data automation and engineering processes.
