You will design and build data architectures for complex systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data solutions using distributed architectures and cloud platforms.
• Develop data pipelines leveraging tools like Spark, Scala, and Python.
• Analyze data and document findings using strong technical writing.
• Troubleshoot environment and hosting issues within cloud-based services.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of application engineering experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark, Scala, and Hadoop.
• Experience with Google Big Query, dbt, and various data persistence solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies using Jira (Atlassian).
• Understanding of object orientation and modern design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with API services and distributed architectures.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services.
• Knowledge of general security and networking technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to full-stack development.
• Experience with REST API design and development best practices.
