Description

Design and implement data architectures for enterprise data products within the Production Optimization domain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models, including Type 2 Dimensional Modeling and data flow diagrams.
• Analyze current state architectures to design future state solutions aligned with enterprise data principles.
• Collaborate with IT and Data Architects to define standards through Architectural Decision Records (ADRs).
• Provide modeling support, guidance, and mentorship to data engineering teams to standardize data products.
• Consult with project teams to ensure alignment with data governance and master data management programs.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data design and architecture.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Upstream Oil and Gas, specifically Production Optimization, Production Volumes, and Production Revenue Accounting.
• Proficiency with Snowflake and SQL query language.
• Hands-on experience with ER Studio for data modeling.
• Proven experience in data profiling, data quality analysis, and building business data glossaries or catalogs.
• Ability to design solutions around Role-Based Access (RBA).
• Experience working within agile delivery teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of JSON, Python, Git, API concepts, and integration architecture.
• Experience with TAMR, Collibra, OSDU, Graph, ADX, and NoSQL technologies.
• Understanding of Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Data Hubs.
