Description

You will design and implement complex data architectures across cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage data pipelines using Spark, Hadoop, and DBT.
• Develop data solutions with Python and Scala across distributed architectures.
• Implement non-RDBMS persistence solutions including Key/Value Stores and Document DBs.
• Troubleshoot environment and hosting issues within GCP and AWS.
• Produce technical documentation detailing architectural decisions and apply data analysis techniques.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in application engineering or equivalent roles.
• Expertise with Data Architect principles and modern design patterns.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Scala, Spark, Hadoop, and DBT.
• Hands-on experience with Google Big Query, Trino, and Starburst.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies using JIRA.
• Familiarity with API services, distributed architectures, and network security.
• Experience with data analysis and strong technical writing abilities.
• Familiarity with non-RDBMS persistence layers (e.g., Object Storage).
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to full-stack development.
• REST API design and development best practices.
