Description

You will design and implement data solutions for precision genomics research, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and long-term operational efficiency.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed logical system designs and implement accepted Enterprise Architecture frameworks.
• Develop solution designs that align with IT portfolio standards to ensure long-term operational efficiency.
• Coach and mentor engineers, developers, and architects across the organization.
• Guide delivery teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and guidelines.
• Lead virtual teams to drive technical outcomes within defined time and budget constraints.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of development experience plus 3-5 years of specific architecture experience.
• Expertise in Data Architecture and architecture design optimization techniques.
• Hands-on proficiency with Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with Azure, Databricks, and Terraform.
• Knowledge of Lakehouse Data Architecture and Kimball methodology.
• Experience with cloud database development or cloud ELT.
• Familiarity with JSON and Jinja templates.
• Experience working within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.
• Strong ability to present technical strategies to executive leadership.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) Common Data.
• Knowledge of healthcare data exchange formats such as HL7, FHIR, or CCDA.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and SDLC processes.
