You will design and deliver large-scale data solutions for the financial services domain, focusing on architecture, performance, and governance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data architecture patterns including Data Warehousing, Data Lake, and Data Mesh.
• Manage Snowflake environments with a focus on performance tuning, security, and cost management.
• Develop data pipelines and automation scripts using Python.
• Architect data solutions specifically for BI and analytics platforms.
• Apply data modeling and governance principles to complex financial datasets.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in data architecture or data engineering.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Expert-level knowledge of AWS (S3, EC2, Lambda, Glue, IAM, and networking).
• Advanced Python proficiency for data manipulation and pipeline development.
• Experience delivering data solutions for Sigma and/or Power BI.
• Deep domain knowledge of financial services back-office operations and Risk Management.
• Strong expertise in data modeling and data architecture patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data security (encryption, tokenization, MNPI management).
• Practical use of dbt, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of streaming technologies like Kafka or Kinesis and financial instruments.
