Description

Design and maintain enterprise-scale data platforms supporting multi-tenant, multi-system architectures.

Responsibilities

• Architect event-driven data solutions and Change Data Capture (CDC) pipelines for real-time synchronization.
• Model complex eCommerce data domains including orders, inventory, pricing, and customer records.
• Build and optimize lakehouse infrastructure, primarily using Snowflake, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Implement strict data governance protocols to ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, GDPR, and PII handling standards.
• Develop data processing logic and integration services using Java and Python.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture.
• Deep expertise in event-driven architecture patterns and CDC mechanisms.
• Strong proficiency in Snowflake or equivalent modern data warehousing/lakehouse technologies.
• Hands-on engineering capability with Java and/or Python.
• Experience designing multi-tenant data platforms serving multiple integrated systems.
• Practical knowledge of data privacy regulations (PCI-DSS, GDPR) and governance frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and communicate technical architecture decisions effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, Glue, EventBridge, DMS, EMR, and RDS.
• Exposure to AI/ML data pipelines or feature store implementations.
• Domain background in retail or multi-brand eCommerce environments.
